According to a recent report from Marca, Real Madrid are not going to be aggressively going after Kylian Mbappe during the current summer transfer window. The young Paris Saint-Germain forward has been heavily linked with a move to the Bernabeu since last year, but up to this point, nothing has been able to materialise. Now it seems as if the pieces are being put in place for Real to try and sign him in the summer of 2020, with Zinedine Zidane having already made a series of big moves during the current transfer window.

Real have been ruthless during the current window, bringing in a handful of new stars as they attempt to reclaim their spot at the top of European football. Alas, Mbappe is still pretty young, and giving him one more year to develop with the French champions probably wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world.

Or, at least, we don’t think it would.
