Real Madrid preparing Bale for Salah swap deal

By their own lofty standards, this season has been somewhat of a mess for Spanish super club Real Madrid. Los Blancos currently sit third in La Liga table, 14 points behind their eternal rivals Barcelona, and a lot of their star players haven’t been performing.

Cristiano Ronaldo started the season in dreadful form, though he has lately improved, while Karim Benzema has been struggling all season long. The enigma in Zinedine Zidane’s squad however is Gareth Bale, who has been plagued by injury ever since his move to the Spanish capital.

The Welsh international could be involved in a stunning swap deal however as Real are preparing to offer Bale to Liverpool in exchange for Mohamed Salah, according to the Star.

The Egyptian has been in scintillating form this season, registering 23 goals and eight assists in 27 league games. His addition to an already stacked Real Madrid squad would certainly help them get back to challenging at the very top.
