Diego Rossi and Bradley Wright-Phillips scored as Los Angeles FC ended their road woes with a 3-1 victory at Real Salt Lake in MLS.

LAFC claimed their first away win of the season after seeing off RSL at Rio Tinto Stadium on Sunday, having lost four games on the road in 2020.

Wright-Phillips opened the scoring in the 22nd minute as RSL became the 21st different team the English forward has scored against in his MLS career, per Opta.

Rossi doubled the lead five minutes later to score his MLS-leading 12th goal of the season after capping a swift counter-attacking move.

LAFC’s Brian Rodriguez made it 3-0 approaching the hour-mark when the Uruguay international glided by two opponents before finding the back of the net.

An Eduard Atuesta own goal gave RSL hope five minutes later but LAFC were not to be denied maximum points.

Reigning Supporters’ Shield holders LAFC are fifth in the Western Conference after 15 games, six points behind leaders Seattle Sounders, while RSL are three points further back.
