Real to bid for Mbappe

According to an exclusive report by Sport, Real Madrid are plotting a bid that would bring Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe to Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

The Catalan outlet claims the whole story about Real’s intention to sign former Barcelona star Neymar has been a smokescreen created as a diversion from their real target which is – Mbappe. The 19-year-old moved from AS Monaco to PSG last summer on a season-long loan with an option to buy, and that officially remains the case until July 1st, when the option will be activated and he will become the world’s second most-expensive player, after Neymar.

But now it seems Real Madrid will look to snatch the deal somehow. The Champions League finalists have also been linked with Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Chelsea’s Eden Hazard recently, but both of those have played down the links by saying they are happy to remain at their current respective clubs.
