Redknapp keen for Remy and Taarabat to stay

Queens Park Rangers are set to make a last ditch attempt to keep both Loic Remy and Adel Taarabt at the club, the Mirror understands.

Both players spent last season out on loan, with Remy enjoying a spell with Newcastle United and Taarabt turning out first for Fulham and then for AC Milan.

Remy has made just fourteen appearances so far for the Hoops since signing for them in January 2013, scoring six times but he was unable to help them avoid relegation to the Championship.

Taarabt moved to Loftus Road, initially on loan towards the end of the 2008/09 campaign before making the switch permanent in 2010.

He was named the Championship’s Player of the Year in QPR’s title winning 2010/11 campaign after scoring nineteen times in forty-four league appearances.

Both have been strongly linked with moves away from the London club this summer, but manager Harry Redknapp will now hold crunch talks in a bid to secure their services .
