Reja confident duo will stay

(GSM) – Lazio Coach Edy Reja expects star duo Cristian Ledesma and Aleksandar Kolarov to stay at the club this season. Both players are on the front pages of Italian newspapers with regards to possible moves elsewhere.

Kolarov is believed to be a target of Manchester City, Real Madrid , Juventus and Internazionale in the close season despite having a season remaining on his existing deal at the Italian side. Palermo and Hamburg have both been linked with a move for Ledesma.

“I think we are trying to reach an agreement with Ledesma,” said Reja.

“Kolarov will come to pre-season training on July 20 and, as things stand right now, I think he will stay with us.

“If he does leave, then he’ll in any case be replaced by a player for that same role.”

Since the arrival of Reja back in February, the Biancoceleste have claimed 21 points in 13 games en route to defending their Serie A status.
