AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic voted for Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola ashis FIFA Ballon d’Or Coach of the Year, according to reports.

The Sweden captain had a troublesome relationship with Guardiola during his spell at Barca, and hit out at the coach in his autobiography published in 2011.

But AS claim Ibrahimovic did not let his previous conflicts affect his selection and gave his first vote to the Barcelona coach.

Guardiola beat the likes of 2010 winner and Real Madrid rival Jose Mourinho and Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson to win the prestigious award in Zurich, Switzerland on Monday.

The report claims Ibrahimovic voted for former team-mate Lionel Messi as his Player of the Year, with Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney as his number two and Barcelona’s Andres Iniesta in third position.
