Competition: Euro 2016 qualifiers
Market: Republic of Ireland to qualify from Group D
Odds: 6/4 @ William Hill

Republic of Ireland have surprised many with their fine form in the Euro 2016 qualifiers so far. Martin O’Neill’s side have picked up seven points from a possible nine, recently earning an impressive draw against World Cup holders Germany.

They have stiff competition at the top in Group D, with Poland and Germany expected to challenge for the two automatic qualifications places. The best third place side (most points from all the groups) will also earn safe passage through, so The Boys in Green must amass as many points as they can regardless.

Ireland are three points ahead of Germany after three games, but the Eagles are likely to fight back in Group D, meaning ROI could be fighting it out with Poland for the second qualifying place. Due to their impressive start in the group, William Hill are giving odds of 6/4 for the Republic of Ireland to qualify from Group D.
