Looking to continue on their very bright end to the year, Roma will host a struggling Parma side at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Roma would have been disappointed to have only picked up a point against Sassuolo last weekend, former Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri has enjoyed his brief cameo at the Stadio Olimpico. Now enjoying an eight-match unbeaten run that stems all the way back to the end of March, a huge part of I Giallorossi’s European charge has come down to their continued performances on home soil. Picking up a 2-0 win over defending Serie A champions Juventus earlier in the month, Roma have won each of their last three matchups at the Stadio Olimpico and have gone over 300 minutes without shipping a goal in front of their own supporters.

As for the visitors, while Parma may have managed to pick up a hard-fought 1-0 win over Fiorentina last weekend, a result that secured their Serie A status, it has been a very sluggish end to the year for Roberto D’Aversa’s men. Now recording just a pair of victories since the 19th of January, A huge part of Parma’s struggles at the back end of the year has been their continued issues away from the Stadio Ennio Tardini. I Crociati have failed to win any of their last eight outings on the road and have managed just a single away victory in 2019.
