Roma sign Bojan in a deal that could rise to €40 million

Roma have finally completed the signing of Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic, the Catalans have announced on their official website.

The La Liga giants waited until Alexis Sanchez’s transfer to Barcelona was complete to finalize the deal taking the promising striker to Roma.

What makes this transfer interesting is that Roma have agreed to pay €12 million for the player, but the Giallorossi will have to pay much more in order to keep the player at Olimpico.

Namely, a clause has been inserted in the deal obliging Barcelona to buy the player back at the end of 2012/2013 season for €13 million.

The only way how Roma can keep hold of Krkic after the end of 2012/2013 is to pay another €28 million.

Krkic is set to confirm the deal at a press conference at Camp Nou scheduled for 13.30.

I think Bojan is a superstar in the making, he simply was in the wrong place to develop. 12M is a bargain for Roma.
