Competition: Euro 2016 qualifier
Market: Scotland to win against Republic of Ireland
Odds: 7/5 @ William Hill

Scotland and the Republic of Ireland will clash horns tonight in what promises to be a fiercely contested Euro 2016 qualifier. Scotland find themselves three points adrift of Ireland in the group, so they cannot entertain anything less than a win this evening.

As for Martin O’Neill’s men, they have the chance to go top with a win over their close rivals, putting them in great shape to earn automatic qualification to the finals. Their form has been very impressive too, picking up wins against Georgia and Gibraltar, while earning a point away to World champions Germany.

Scotland were unfortunate to lose 2-1 to Germany in their opening qualifier, but they redeemed themselves by getting all three points against Georgia and drawing away to Poland. They will be a tough opposition tonight, and William Hill are giving odds of 7/5 for the Scots to come out on top this evening against the Republic of Ireland
