Serie A president Paolo Dal Pino has tested positive for coronavirus, the league has confirmed.
The 58-year-old was swabbed on Monday and will now follow the health protocols as outlined by Serie A.
A widely released statement from Serie A read: “Lega Serie A announce that President Paolo Dal Pino tested positive for COVID-19 following the swab carried out yesterday.
“Asymptomatic and in isolation at home, he will follow the procedures set out in the health protocol.”
Dal Pino was elected as president in January this year.
