Acting in answer to their severe injury crisis at the back, Tottenham Hotspur were reportedly close to signing Fikayo Tomori from AC Milan, but fresh reports claim the Rossoneri centre-back is likely to reject the move. Therefore, Spurs must now consider alternative targets and, fearing the recent injury suffered by Radu Dragusin may cause the Romania international to miss the rest of the season, they must consider quickly, as the transfer window closes on Monday evening.
According to The Telegraph, one of the possibilities they’re mulling over is Axel Disasi, who has found himself surplus to requirements at Chelsea.
Disasi has reportedly agreed to leave Chelsea for Aston Villa, but the two clubs haven’t yet reached an agreement over the size and structure of the transfer fee. The Blues will only allow the 26-yaer-old centre-back to leave under certain conditions – a loan with an obligation to buy or at least for a considerable loan fee, or a permanent transfer for an adequate market price.
