Spurs, Inter enter chase for Eredivisie striker

Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan have joined the race for Utrecht striker Sebastian Haller.

The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with a January move to Lazio, but the Biancocelesti could now be punished for their hesitation to wrap up the deal.

Namely, reports from Italy claim that Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan are also hot on the trail of Haller, whose agent has confirmed that a January exit is a realistic possibility.

Utrecht are believed to want around €10 million for their star player and it is perfectly clear that the asking price is unlikely to be a problem for any of his suitors.

The Eredivisie outfit will be hoping to see a real bidding war for Haller since that could further increase the transfer fee.

Since joining Utrecht from Auxerre, the striker has scored 35 goals in 67 Eredivisie appearances.
