Spurs ponder Rabiot loan

Premier League giants Tottenham Hotsput are hot on the trail of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, L’Equipe has suggested.

Even if he was widely tipped to leave the Saints in the summer, the youngster ultimately decided to extend his deal until June 2019, but that does not mean he will be staying at Parc des Princes for the foreseeable future.

According to L’Equipe. Tottenham Hotspur aim to try and sign the 19-year-old on loan deal until the end of the season.

And with Rabiot making mere three league appearances this season, there is a chance he would be interested in a switch to White Hart Lane.

The interesting thing is that Arsenal and Roma were reportedly locked in the battle for the highly rated midfielder as his previous deal was due to expire this summer.

Spurs will be in action tomorrow when they host Newcastle in the Capital One Cup quarter-final, with home win paying 4/5.
