Spurs snatch Danjuma move from Everton

Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma had all but completed his move to Everton a few days ago. The medical was already done and all that was left was for the paperwork to be signed, when Tottenham Hotspur suddenly made their move and snatched the transfer away from the Toffees.

That is according to multiple sources, who now report that the 25-year-old Dutch international is scheduled to undergo another medical, with Spurs.

Danjuma already has some experience of playing in England, having spent two years with Bournemouth before leaving for Villarreal in 2021. He played 14 matches for the Cherries in the Premier League, 33 in the Championship, and two in the Championship playoffs, and in that time, he scored a total of 17 goals and produced eight assists.

Obviously keen to return to the English top flight, it seems he isn’t too interested in helping Everton avoid relegation. The Merseyside Blues are currently at the bottom of the table, while Spurs still have hopes of finishing inside the top four.
