Arsenal and Chelsea met in a pre-season friendly at the Emirates on Sunday. The visitors walked away victorious, with Kai Havertz hitting the opener, Granit Xhaka equalizing for the Gunners and Tammy Abraham taking advantage of a poor pass at the back for the winner.

Arsenal scored again as well, this time through Joe Willock whose powerful shot hit the underside of the bar and bounced off the ground clearly over the line, but the goal was not given. Apparently, the goal-line technology wasn’t used, and the linesman failed to act, having not been positioned correctly.
