Ajax kept their perfect record in this season’s Eredivisie, as the Amsterdam outfit beat RKC Waalwijk 4-1 on Saturday.

Gregory van der Wiel put Martin Jol’s side ahead after just ten minutes but Benjamin de Ceulaer surprisingly equalised in minute 31.

RKC began to believe in a draw but it was Uruguayan Luis Suarez to end their dreams. The forward first scored in the 71st minute converting a penalty kick, and added another two goals in the 82nd and 92nd minutes for a hat-trick in the most traditional sense of the word.

In Saturday’s other game, Roda JC held FC Groningen to a 1-1 draw. Anouar Hadouir put Roda in the lead on 19 minutes but Goran Lovre levelled 11 minutes later.
