Swansea 11/8 to beat Brighton in Saturday’s Premier League clash

Competition: Premier League

Market: Swansea to beat Brighton

Odds: 11/8 @ Bet365

The Premier League returns this weekend with a glut of important games that could prove pivotal in the futures of so many different teams. Two sides that desperately need a victory on Saturday are Swansea City and Brighton, with the latter travelling to Wales for this one.

For Swansea, this campaign has not been an ideal one. Just two wins has not been a good return considering they have lost six times already this season. Seven goals scored is fairly modest, but the fact they have conceded just 12 times in their 10 games shows that it is their offensive-line that is letting Paul Clement’s men down. With Swansea spared the relegation zone by their goal difference, they know that a win is crucial if they are to put some space between themselves and Everton in 18th.

Brighton, on the other hand, have been in very good form this term and they look fairly comfortable with the standard of the Premier League. Considering many had Brighton as one of their favourites to go down, the fact they have taken 12 points from their 10 games and currently sit in 12th place in the league means that they are doing far better than many of their Premier League counterparts. A win at the Liberty Stadium would be huge for the side as they look to continue their decent run of form, but Swansea will be going all out for the three points in this one. With this in mind, Bet365 have given the Swans odds of 11/8 to beat Brighton.
