The FA Cup returns this week for yet more action as the Third Round replays take place. There are still a number of Premier League teams yet to book their place in the next round and they will be looking to avoid embarrassment against their lower-league opposition. With this in mind, Swansea host Wolves on Wednesday.

Swansea have been in very poor form in the league this season and they are in real trouble of getting relegated. After 23 games they have picked up 17 points via four wins, five draws and 14 defeats. They have scored a league-low 14 goals, while they have conceded 35 times. In their last five there has been some cause for optimism, as they have drawn twice, lost twice and won once. They are currently four points short of safety and in need of a distraction, something the FA Cup may give them.

Wolves on the other hand have been outstanding in the Championship this season. After 27 games they have won 19, drawn five and lost three times, while they have scored 50 goals and conceded 20 times. In their last five they have won three and drawn twice, meaning they are on 62 points for the season so far, 10 clear of Derby Count in second-place. Wolves will be targetting promotion this season, but they may see the FA Cup as a competition they can reach the latter stages of, although they will face a tough test to break down a Swansea side that has been better recently.
