Thomas Muller 11/8 to score anytime against Lokomotiv Moscow in Wednesday’s Champions League showdown

Looking to sign off their Group A campaign with a flurry in midweek, Bayern Munich will welcome Lokomotiv Moscow to the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

Starting with the hosts, coming from behind and managing to snatch a point off of RB Leipzig thanks to an action-packed 3-3 draw over the weekend, Bayern Munich have already found a route to the top of the Bundesliga table. Already managing to book their spot in the knockout stage of this year’s Champions League with time to spare, it is no surprise to many across Europe that the German heavyweights are seen as the standout pick to defend their crown this season. Losing just a single competitive contest across all formats since opening the 2020/2021 campaign, Head Coach Hans-Dieter Flick will be excited by Thomas Muller’s recent purple patch. Bagging a brace against Leipzig over the weekend and also converting from the spot against Atletico Madrid last week on foreign soil, the German ace should be confident of extending on his tally in midweek.

As for the visitors, while Lokomotiv Moscow might have managed to pick up a much-needed 3-1 win against Rubin Kazan on domestic duties over the weekend, it doesn’t cover what has been an extended blip for the Russian outfit. Already sat firmly at the bottom of Group C and needing a miracle if they’re to even secure a spot in this year’s Europa League, Head Coach Marko Nikolić has seen his men win just a pair of their last 11 contests across all formats, a run that stems back to October 17th. Already sat outside the European spots in Russia’s top-flight, Lokomotiv also have a real reputation for their continued issues on the road. Failing to win any of their last five matchups away from the RZD Arena, they will undoubtedly face another stern test away at the German champions in midweek.

Bet: Thomas Muller 11/8 to score anytime against Lokomotiv Moscow in Wednesday’s Champions League showdown @ 888sport
