Tottenham 1/4 to beat Stoke in Saturday’s Premier League clash

Competition: Premier League

Market: Tottenham to beat Stoke

Odds: 1/4 @ Bet365

The Premier League is back this weekend for another huge round of games as the competition continues to heat up. Last week, there were a number of interesting results that have continued to shape the table both at the top and the bottom. The games this week are a chance to continue a winning run, or to bring an end to a cluster of poor results. With this in mind, Tottenham host Stoke on Saturday.

It has turned into a very tough campaign for Tottenham after their strong start has crumbled around them. In their last five games, they have won just once, losing twice and drawing twice. This has seen them onto 25 points for the season, meaning they are 10 behind Manchester United in second, and 18 short of Manchester City at the top of the table. It seems as though they are out of the title race after just 15 games, which means that securing a Champions League spot for next year must now be their main priority.

For Stoke, it has been a very tough season so far. After 15 games they have collected 16 points, but their last five games have only seen one win, which came in their last game. They currently sit six points above the relegation zone, but a few negative results could see that gap disappear very quickly, meaning they will want to start picking up points, and quickly. Despite this, we are backing Tottenham with odds of 1/4 from Bet365.
