Valencia 9/4 to get themselves back into the top-four of La Liga this season

Following a disappointing league campaign that has seen them miss out on a place in European competition, Spanish La Liga side Valencia are pushing for a place in the Champions League for 2015/16, and have the squad to achieve it this summer.

Players such as Victor Ruiz, Aly Cissokho, Ever Banega, Pablo Piatti, Sofiane Feghouli and new-boy Rodrigo will be important for Valencia if they want to finish in the top-four of the league. Last season, they were eighth in the table, losing 15 of their 38 games.

It was their worst league finish for six years, but under new manager Nuno Espírito Santo they are hoping to erase the past. Betfair are giving odds of 9/4 for Valencia to finish fourth, due to their rivals Sevilla set to lose influential players from their side, while Athletic Bilbao have already seen their creative midfielder Ander leave for Manchester United.

Coupled with Real Sociedad losing their top forward Antoine Griezmann, and Valencia are potentially in the best shape to achieve their objectives.
