West Ham go after Sidibe

According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Premier League side West Ham United are interested in the possibility of signing Monaco defender Djibril Sidibe during the current summer transfer window. The belief is that Monaco are open to the idea of letting him go, but only for the right price. When it comes to funds that certainly appears to be one area that the Hammers aren’t struggling in after they were recently able to absolutely smash their record transfer fee. As we look ahead to the remainder of the window they definitely have their eyes on a few other players, too, which showcases their desire to make a real push for European football once again.

Whether or not that comes to fruition during the upcoming season remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure: this is one of the most fascinating times in recent memory to be a West Ham United fan.
