West Ham United want to sign Harry Maguire

West Ham United are interested in signing Harry Maguire from Premier League rivals Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that Manchester United have made Maguire available for transfer, and that the Hammers are keen on bringing the England international central defender to London Stadium.

Maguire is a hugely experienced defender, but the 30-year-old England international centre-back has not always had the best of times in a Manchester United shirt. The former Leicester City centre-back has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford, and it would make sense for him to find a new club in the Premier League where he would play week in and week out.

Manchester United are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 49 points from 25 matches, while West Ham currently find themselves 16th in the standings with 23 points from 25 games, a point above the relegation zone.
