Wijnaldum heading to Inter Milan?

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Georginio Wijnaldum will be offered the chance to sign for Inter Milan next summer.

There is believed to be something of a race forming over the Dutchman and while he didn’t end up joining Barcelona as many had expected during the most recent transfer window, it appears as if Liverpool will do well to keep hold of him once the end of the season rolls around.

The 30-year-old is still viewed as a strong option for Jurgen Klopp at Anfield but if he isn’t able to maintain a consistent spot in the starting XI, then there’s a good chance he may seek a new opportunity elsewhere.

The Nou Camp may well be his preferred destination but Inter are the kind of team that aren’t going to give up without a fight, which could lead to a bidding war that would leave the Reds in a fascinating position.
