Zidane wants France job?

According to a recent report from AS, Manchester United may be thwarted in their attempt to sign Zinedine Zidane – by France.

AS posted the following update regarding what the future could hold for the former Real Madrid boss.

“It is widely suspected that Zidane has already decided where his next job will be: the France national team.” The paper adds: “The legendary number 10 will be a shoo-in for the role if Didier Deschamps decides to step aside after the World Cup, by which time he will have been in charge of Les Bleus for a decade. As such, Zidane has shown little desire to rush back into club management despite a number of offers”.

Zidane has previously been linked with a move to Manchester United, as and when the club decides to let go of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Now, however, it appears as if a real spanner has been thrown into the works.
