With their spot in the play-offs already confirmed, LA Galaxy will look to end their regular season campaign on a positive note when they travel to a struggling Houston on Sunday night.

Starting with the hosts, suffering a 2-1 loss at home to Real Salt Lake last weekend, it has been nothing short of a woeful campaign for the Dynamo’s. Only just managing to avoid picking up the wooden spoon in the Western Conference, Davy Arnaud’s men have now suffered back-to-back defeats and have picked up just six points out of a possible 21 at the end of the campaign. With the mood around the BBVA Stadium remaining incredibly fragile, fans around Texas will be growing most concerned by Houston’s continued defensive struggles. Sunday’s hosts have recorded just a single clean sheet since the 4th of July.

As for the visitors, while LA Galaxy may have seen their winning run come to an abrupt end away at Vancouver last weekend, they have already secured a top-seven finish in the Western Conference. One man who has continued to shine for the Whites this season is leading marksman, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Once again finding the net last weekend and recording a very eye-catching 29 MLS strikes this season, the former Manchester United striker also has six goals in his last four appearances. Given Houston’s continued issues at the back, Ibrahimovic should be confident of extending his run this weekend.
