Sagna on his way to Italy?

Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna could be on his way out of the Emirates Stadium and on his way to Italy to join European giants Inter Milan, that’s according to Talk Sport.

Sagna is only now returning to fitness after a broken leg, but faces a fight to regain his position in the Gunners side as Carl Jenkinson has stated the season extremely well at right-back.

This news has attracted the attention of Serie A giants Inter, who are now ready to monitor the Frenchman’s fitness and rehabilitation before possibly making a move for him in the summer transfer window next year.

The Italian side do not want to risk a January move as they are likely to need to pay more money for Sagna and might not be 100% sure if he is fit enough to play every week.

He is under contract at Arsenal until 2014, but could be on the move before that if Inter do come in for him.

Although Sagna is a very good player on his day, Wenger might be willing to let him go after he made comments criticising the clubs transfer policy in September after a number of first-team players were sold.
