Arsenal want Brazilian Diego if Hleb leaves

Arsenal have refuted claims that they are a club in crisis with players like Mathieu Flamini leaving already and Alexander Hleb rumored to be wanting to leave.

The latest midfielder to be linked with Wenger’s side is Werder Bremen’s Brazilian playmaker Diego. The 23-year-old playmaker has been one of the best players in the German league, Bundesliga, for the past two seasons.

Diego has been rumored to be the replacement if Hleb decides to leave the club this summer.

Diego is under contract at Bremen until 2011 and he recently said that his future was in the hands of the German club. Diego has 34 caps to his name with Brazil.

The Arsenal in crisis – oh dear where does all this rubbish come from?
One player leaves and the club is going to pot!
There are plenty of clubs out there that wished but dream on.

They need something. They really do. Perhaps three years without a trophy is coming back to haunt Arsene Wenger. I wouldn’t bet against them losing Hleb and then Fabregas. Meaning they have to build another team, with there being a serious chance of another trophy-less season next time around.

Oh please, Hleb may go, and to be honest a lot of us won’t mind; but Fabregas? No way, stop dreaming, the man is about to sign an improved and extended contract. Whatever we need, Arsene will bring in.

People need to get real, Real Madrid also went three years without winning and look at them now.

Wenger should wake up en see ahead.we need who can deliver n not for the future. Sign Kompany, Yaya Toure,David Villa or sign ‘TT’ back.we also need an experience GK# Wenger should also appreciate what Lehman and Gilberto have done for the Club.Flamini has wasted Gilberto,he’s gone en what’s nxt?Wenger be ready to appreciate en just dont dump ur loyal servants.Campbel,Lauren,Kanu,Freddie,Edu, etc..left Arsenal very Unhappy.APPRECIATE!!

More guns for FABREGAS.I think he is one of the greatest assets we are having at hand. His new signing will cheer others up nd give Arsene a mandate of great signings nd this season will be better MORE GUNS FOR FABREGAS!!!

thank you gunners for life. Finally someone on the same wavelength as me…stupid opposing fans think its a crisis because we dont win a trophy. when we are winning everyone goes “how does wenger do it with so little money” and when we go on bad form everyone is hypocritical and says “its coz he doesnt spend enough” thats all a load of bollocks. sorry for all you bullshit fans who dont have principles about your clubs and will just go into financial crisis whilst spending all your money

I dont appreciate that Hleb would save himself for CL games and didnt play well in the premier league…

Hes after money, no doubt. If Diego comes in then good riddens to him. I rate Diego more than Hleb.

Hleb can go but i think Diego is equally a very good player with bags of international experience.I hope Wenger makes it a reality
