Chivu bracing for Roma test

Inter Milan defender Cristian Chivu is preparing himself for a tough match at Roma on Sunday.

Inter sit fourth in the Serie A table, holding a six-point advantage over sixth-placed Roma, and Chivu is determined to collect full points.

“We are going to Rome to win this game because it is essential that we bag the full three points,” the Romanian defender told La Repubblica.

“They are a team in good shape, but we want to climb as high as possible.

“Roma are not easy to beat. They attack the spaces and get in behind you. They have players who always seem to find the right pass at the right time.”

Inter were beaten 3-1 at home by Roma earlier this season.
