Tottenham Hotspur want Genoa star Albert Gudmundsson

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Albert Gudmundsson from Genoa in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that Spurs are among a number of clubs who have been impressed with Gudmundsson, who is available for sale for €30 million.

Gudmundsson is one of the best forwards in Serie A and has been very good for Genoa in recent times. The 26-year-old Iceland international is a versatile player who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a forward. Gudmundsson has scored 14 goals and given three assists in 32 Serie A matches this season. It will be interesting to see what he does if Spurs do indeed make an offer for him.

Tottenham are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 60 points from 35 matches, seven points behind Aston Villa, who are fourth and have played 36 games. Meanwhile, Genoa currently find themselves 12th in the Serie A table with 43 points from 35 games.
