Craddock signs new Wolves deal

Former Sunderland defender Jody Craddock has extended his contract with newly-promoted Wolves.

The 33-year-old joined Wolves from Sunderland in 2003 and his contract was set to expire this summer, but he has now signed a new 12-month deal.

“I’m delighted to have signed the new deal,” he told the club’s official website.

“I see this as probably one of the biggest achievements of my career. I’m nearly 34 and so to earn this contract is massive for me.

“I feel very happy with how I’ve done as a player in my career and pleased with what I’ve achieved but this is another great new challenge.

“I’ve had the privilege of playing in the Premier League twice before with Sunderland and with Wolves and am really looking forward to going back in there again.”
