Tianjin Teda and Dalian Shide shared the points in a 1-1 draw in the Chinese Super League at TEDA Football Stadium on Friday.

Shide had lost three of their last five CSL fixtures but were unbeaten in four matches against Teda, which included a 4-1 triumph in May and that looked set to continue.

Bulgarian international striker Martin Kamburov put Shide ahead in the 35th minute for his ninth goal of the campaign.

The visitors were on track for a half-time lead before Sjoerd Ars levelled proceedings with virtually the last kick of the half.

Teda, who had claimed the scalps of Beijing Guoan, Guangzhou R and F and Hangzhou in recent weeks, were unbeaten in its last five league outings and that run extended on Friday courtesy of Ars’ 13th goal of the season on the stroke of half-time.

With both sides unable to find a winner, Teda move within three points of fifth-placed Guoan, while Shide moved into eighth spot – level on points with Changchun Yatai (ninth) and Dalian Aerbin (seventh), but have played two more games than the former, and one more than the latter.
