Door now open for Mourinho return to Chelsea

Jose Mourinho will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season, but will he return to Chelsea this summer?

Spanish giants Real Madrid has confirmed that boss Jose Mourinho will be allowed to leave the club at the end of the season.

It now seems that the ‘special one’ could now be returning to Premier League with Chelsea.

Failure

This season seems to be the first in nearly a decade that Jose Mourinho has failed to deliver a trophy for the club he is managing.

Mourinho was brought to the Bernabeu to win Los Blancos’ Holy Grail the Champions League.

He failed to deliver the big trophy and his team lost out to bitter-rivals Barcelona in the race for the La Liga title. For the first time in a long time, people are questioning Mourinho’s managerial ability.

In previous seasons, everything the Portuguese boss touched turned to gold and this season it has gone badly wrong. In fighting between Mourinho and some of Real’s key players has undermined his spell in the Spanish capital.

Worse

Mourinho has revealed that he believes the current campaign is his worse ever as a football manager. He has failed to win a trophy and has been on the end of more criticism than ever this season.

Loved

Jose Mourinho needs to move elsewhere for the sake of everybody and it is probably the correct decision to leave the Bernabeu. Mourinho has a big ego, but he needs to be at a club where he is loved, even if opponents and press are not that keen on him.

Chelsea fans seem to love Mourinho and apparently, Mourinho loves the Blues. The former-Inter boss certainly loves life and everything about England. He was linked with a move to Manchester United, prior to David Moyes’ appointment at Old Trafford.

However, Mourinho was very unlikely to ever be appointed the United boss and was always more likely to move to Chelsea than United.

Controversy

Mourinho and controversy seem to go hand-in-hand. Throughout his career as a manager, he has caused the sort of controversy that big clubs often attempt to avoid. The Spanish media have not appreciated his confrontational style of management and he has become very unpopular in Spain.

Mourinho is well liked by most of the British media, but started to grate on some of the media during his first stint with Chelsea. If he expects an easy ride on his return to the Premier League, then he may just be in for a nasty surprise.

Talented

If as expected, Mourinho is appointed as Chelsea boss this summer he will inherit a very good squad of players. Interim boss Rafa Benitez has done a good job at Stamford Bridge in steadying the ship. The current Chelsea squad is looking likely a very dangerous prospect for next season.

Spending

The Blues look set to spend big again this summer according to reports in the media and from what outgoing manager Rafa Benitez has stated. The next Chelsea manager will be given the funds needed to make Chelsea real title challengers next season.

The priority currently seems to be a new striker with record signing Fernando Torres being linked with a move away from the Bridge this summer. Just the addition of a new striker this summer could mean Chelsea becoming a real force next season.

Reports this morning suggest that striker could be Atletico Madrid’s highly rated Colombian Radamel Falcao, who the Spanish club have admitted will be sold this summer. There is likely to be interest from elsewhere, but Falcao could be the final part of a very tasty attacking jigsaw at Chelsea.

Clash

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will back the next Chelsea boss with major resources, but the Russian oligarch had a very strained relationship with Mourinho towards the end of his first spell at Stamford Bridge. Whether the two can make Chelsea successful is unknown.

Mourinho returning to Chelsea this summer would certainly be interesting. Not only would he have to deal with the players, but also the clubs owner. The pair do not see eye-to-eye and it will be difficult to see how the two can have a good working relationship.

Return

The return of Jose Mourinho to Chelsea is just one of the changes at the top of the ever-changing managerial landscape of the Premier League. Mourinho is pure theatre and his presence in the Premier League can only make life more interesting for the British top flight next season.

Whether Mourinho and Chelsea can be successful again remains to be seen. One thing that is for sure is that Mourinho will be determined to win silverware again next season. That determination could just be enough to make Chelsea major players in European football in the new campaign.

Is Jose Mourinho returning the right move for Chelsea?

Morinho is a good coach and is right for real madrid. He shouldn’t take the blame bcuz its players and coach-collective. He love positive results without interference but yet listen to advise. Give him chance to do his work. That is the problem.

this year’s flop of Real Madrid is not Jose’s fault. but it’s PEREZs fault for siding with Iker and Ramos rather than his coach.
