Fernando Llorente cool on MLS link

Sevilla striker Fernando Llorente claims that he is unaware of the reported interest from Major League Soccer.

The Spanish forward has had a difficult start to his career at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, although he has finally started showing some improvement.

After scoring the winner in the 1-0 triumph over Eibar, Llorente commented on speculation linking him with a summer move to the United States.

“I haven’t received anything. Besides, I am still not thinking about that,” Llorente was quoted as saying in Estadio Deportivo.

The 31-year-old has been vying with Kevin Gameiro for the role of the starting striker at Sevilla, and he has so far managed 4 goals in 18 league appearances.

Llorente also scored a brace in the Europa League clash against Molde that ultimately proved decisive, but the winner against Eibar was his first league goal in almost four months.

The Spaniard was surprisingly allowed to leave Juventus last summer, as he went on to join los Rojiblancos on a free transfer.
