Barcelona stand-in coach Jordi Roura insisted his side still have the attitude they are ‘unbeatable’.

Barcelona stand-in coach Jordi Roura insisted his side still have the attitude they are ‘unbeatable’.

Despite Tuesday’s 3-1 humbling at the hands of Real Madrid at Camp Nou, Roura said everything is well in the camp ahead of a league clash with Jose Mourinho’s side, and also a Champions League date with AC Milan.

“Our morale has to be good, because our attitude is unbeatable and we will win again,” Roura told reporters.

Looking ahead to Saturday’s El Clasico, Roura believes it is a big clash that could have a bearing on the title race.

“It’s an important game and we have played them a lot. The league title is the ultimate and to get a positive result would be a big step forward,” he said.

When looking back at the defeats to Madrid and Milan, Roura was honest about his side’s shortcomings.

He continued: “We have analysed the problems and we are quite clear. (But) many of these issues are because we were playing against a very strong team.

“When we play Madrid we will try to improve what we did wrong against them before.”

Roura also confirmed star attacker Lionel Messi would be fit for the clash, despite picking up the flu.

“I haven’t spoken directly with him, but I am kept informed about everything that is happening by the doctors,” he said.

“He had flu yesterday and he has recovered now, so he will train today and I don’t think it is going to be a problem.”
