Grosskreutz linked with Bundesliga return

Hannover could offer Galatasaray winger Kevin Grosskreutz an opportunity to return to German Bundesliga, according to Sport Bild.

The former Germany international joined the Turkish giants in the summer from Borussia Dortmund, but could not be registered for the new club as the required paperwork was not submitted in time.

And it now looks as though he could leave Galatasaray without making a single appearance for the club as he has become unsettled in Turkey.

Sport Bild has learned that Hannover are very interested in the 27-year-old footballer, who will reportedly be available for mere €2.5 million.

The 96ers would be delighted to have a player of his caliber in their ranks and they seem ready to go the extra mile in an attempt to win the chase for Grosskreutz’s signature.

Meanwhile, his former club Borussia Dortmund face Augsburg in the DFB Pokal and can be backed at 4/9 to emerge victorious.
