Inter, Liverpool vying for Karim Bellarabi

Il Corriere dello Sport claims that Inter Milan and Liverpool are locked in the battle for Bayer Leverkusen winger Karim Bellarabi.

The Nerazzurri have already closed on two high-profile midfielders as they have a deal in place for Sevilla playmaker Ever Banega, while an agreement has been reached in principle for Sampdoria hotshot Roberto Soriano.

But, with quite a few midfielders set to leave at the end of the current campaign, the summer recruitment looks set to continue, with Bayer Leverkusen’s Karim Bellarabi the latest name on their hit-list.

Premier League giants Liverpool are keen on the Germany international as well, but the fact they will not be playing Champions League football next term could damage the Reds’ chances of securing the player’s signature.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri will turn their attention towards Lille starlet Sofiane Boufal in case they fail to lure Karim Bellarabi to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza at the end of the season.
