Inter Milan are stepping up their efforts to recruit Argentine midfielder Lucas Biglia from Lazio, according to Tuttosport.
The Nerazzurri are expected to spend heavily in the winter transfer window after Stefano Pioli took over the reigns, and they now plan to strengthen their midfield department in addition to improving at the back.
Tuttosport claims that Lazio hotshot Lucas Biglia is back on their radar, but Inter Milan will first need to offload one or two central midfielders.
The Argentine footballer is currently in talks with the Biancocelesti over a new deal, but the 30-year-old would probably consider moving to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in case of a good offer.
Juventus were also showing interest in Biglia last summer, but the Serie A champions have since turned to other targets.
Inter Milan currently occupy ninth position in the overall standings, and they are 7/1 chance to achieve a top 3 finish.
