New Real Madrid signing Isco believes there is no better achievement than playing for La Liga giants.

The 21-year-old was officially unveiled at the Bernabeu on Wednesday after agreeing a five-year deal at the Spanish club.

And the former Malaga player, who rebuffed the interests of Manchester City to sign for Madrid, is looking forward to what he hopes will be a successful spell under manager Carlo Ancelotti.

“For a player, there is nothing greater than playing for Real Madrid,” he said.

“I hope to enjoy to enjoy my time here a lot and delight the fans.

“Hopefully we can win many titles.”

Madrid president Florentino Perez is confident that the midfielder can live up to his billing and is delighted that he opted to sign for the 2012 Liga champions.

“Isco is a young player but he is ready for this challenge,” he added.

“Everyone knows that Isco had offers from other teams but he chose Real Madrid. Isco is joining a club that doesn’t know the word impossible.

“Isco, welcome to the club. This is your stadium and your home. Welcome to Madrid.”
