Iver Fossum eager to move to Bundesliga

Stromsgodset starlet Iver Fossum admits that he would be delighted to move to German Bundesliga in the January transfer window.

The highly rated youngster has flourished after Martin Odegaard had left the club to join Real Madrid, quickly becoming one of Tippeligaen’s most exciting prospects.

Having managed 11 goals and 9 assists in 30 league appearances last term, the 19-year-old has become the subject of heavy interest from Hannover, who have just made an official offer for his services.

Fossen claims the ball is now in his employers’ court, but he believes that German Bundesliga would be a perfect destination for him.

“They have made an offer to Stromsgodset and we must wait and see whether they will accept,” Fossen confessed to Sport Bild.

“I am currently only thinking about Bundesliga. Now, a switch to Bundesliga would be perfect for my development.”

The Norway Under-21 star has clearly set his sights on leaving Stromsgodset and Hannover appear to be leading the chase for his services.

The 96ers desperately need January reinforcements having slipped to the relegation zone, and they are now priced at 5/4 to get relegated.
