Aleksandar Kolarov said he is considering leaving Premier League champions Manchester City in pursuit of regular first-team football.

The left-back has fallen behind Gael Clichy in the pecking order at Eastlands and has recently been linked with Serie A giants Inter Milan and Juventus.

Kolarov is giving nothing away on that front, but he did concede that he is currently evaluating his future with City.

“I am in constant contact with my agent, so we will soon see what happens,” the Serbia international told the Corriere dello Sport.

“I am very happy here in Manchester, but my goal is to play with greater regularity. I said it to (coach Roberto) Mancini.

“Money has nothing to do with it and I have no problem with wages. It’s simply that I would like to be able to feel more of a regular.”

Kolarov, who has been capped 32 times by his country, joined City from Lazio in 2010 for a reported 19.7 million euros, but made just 12 appearances in the Premier League last season.
