Leipzig keen on PSG youngster

Bundesliga leaders Red Bull Leipzig are hot on the trail of Paris Saint-Germain youngster Dan Axel Zagadou, France Football can reveal.

The German outfit seem determined to continue the recent uptrend in fortunes and they are searching for fresh talent all over Europe.

Leipzig have so far been linked with moves for Moussa Dembele, Reece Oxford and David Henen, while it appears that PSG starlet Dan Axel Zagadou is the latest prospect on their wish list.

Namely, the Bundesliga side are well aware that the 17-year-old will be out of contract at the end of the current campaign and they are determined to bring him to Red Bull Arena.

PSG director of football Patrick Kluivert still hopes Zagadou will sign a new deal at Parc des Princes, but he is more likely to leave as things stand now.

The youngster is widely regarded as the best centre-back to have come through the youth ranks since Mamadou Sakho, and he is a key member of France Under-17 side.
