Morelia were forced to see off fightbacks from Pachuca before posting a home 3-2 win.

Hector Mancilla then struck a brace either side of the interval for Morelia, but Pachuca ensured of a tense finish when Angel Reyna was on target in the 80th minute – but it proved to be only consolation.
Morelia moved into eighth with their second win in three matches, while Pachuca stayed fifth after their three-match winning streak came to an end.
