Liverpool will host Leeds United and Manchester United will face West Ham in the EFL Cup quarter-finals following the draw for the last eight on Wednesday.

Arsenal will entertain Southampton in another all-Premier League tie, while Newcastle United travel to Hull City.

Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United side overcame Manchester City 1-0 at Old Trafford earlier in the night to set up a home tie against the Hammers.

Mourinho’s men went into the second Manchester derby of the campaign on the back of a humbling 4-0 Premier League defeat at Chelsea, but Juan Mata’s second-half strike was enough to secure their progress.

The Hammers, on the other hand, defeated Antonio Conte’s Chelsea 2-1 at London Stadium courtesy of goals from Cheikhou Kouyate and Edimilson Fernandes.

Last season’s beaten finalists Liverpool saw off Tottenham 2-1 on Tuesday thanks to Daniel Sturridge’s double and will welcome Leeds to Anfield.

Garry Monk’s side scraped through with a 3-2 penalty shoot-out triumph over Norwich City and are the lowest-ranked side left in the competition.

Southampton’s reward for despatching Sunderland 1-0 at St Mary’s Stadium on Wednesday is a trip to the Emirates.

The ties will be played week commencing November 28.
