(GSM) – Newcastle have completed the signing of Mike Williamson from Portsmouth. The English defender has been cleared to play for the Magpies.

Williamson could make his debut in tonight’s Coca-Cola Championship clash with Crystal Palace.

The 26-year-old will be hoping for a fresh start at St James’ Park. He previously played for Wycombe Wanderers and Watford.
