ESPN FC is reporting that Manchester United are considering a summer bid for Tottenham Hotsput star Hugo Lloris.
The Red Devils have been unable to persuade David De Gea into signing a contract extension and with his current deal due to expire in June 2016, his long-term future at the club is clearly in doubt.
With the Spaniard being heavily linked with a summer move to Real Madrid, Manchester United are lining up his replacement.
According to ESPN FC, the Red Devils will make a move on Hugo Lloris in case De Gea leaves, and chances are the Frenchman would be interested in a switch to Old Trafford.
The former Lyon hotshot has been frustrated by Spurs’ failure to secure Champions League football and he seems ready to leave White Hart Lane at the end of the season.
Lloris has been in excellent form ever since he joined the Premier League side, making 95 league appearances.
