Milan are standing by and ready to trade for Liverpool defender Daniel Agger, who has not yet signed a new deal at Anfield.

The Danish stopper’s current contract expires in 2010, but the Reds have not moved forward to secure his future. Reports in England suggest coach Rafael Benitez has his doubts over the player. One coach who, according to Il Corriere Dello Sport, doesn’t have any uncertainty on Agger is Carlo Ancelotti.

Reports in Italy claim Agger will arrive at the San Siro if Milan send €7m to Anfield.
