(GSM) – Nacional of Uruguay won Copa Libertadores Group 6 on Wednesday after beating Morelia, 2-0, in Montevideo.
Mario Regueiro fired the home side in front after less than three minutes as the Uruguayans needed victory to ensure they staved off Banfield for the automatic berth in the round of 16.
The home side defense held firm, and Nacional eventually added a second in the 78th minute through Mauricio Pereyra.
Nacional will now be among the top 8 seeds in the knockout round.
